Hi,

I'm using Powerpoint X on Mac OSX with an iBook and am confused about
the keyboard shortcut for the "DEL" key. According to the keyboard
shortcuts, I should be able to use the DELETE key to delete one
character to the left and the DEL key to delete one character to the right.

Where is the DEL key or what other key combination can I use to recreate
that functionality.

Thanks,

Todd,

I think from your question (I'm not a mac person by the way).....
The DEL key (normally on the numeric pad on a pc keyboard, normally next to
the INS, or INSERT key) does indeed delete on chr to the right
The DELETE key (or BACKSPACE key, situation above the Enter or Return key)
deletes one chr to the left.

Thanks. That was the case. I am able to emulate that functionality by
holding the "fn" key and then using DELETE.
